The GEA Grasso FX GC and GEA Grasso FX GCduo are high-efficiency industrial chillers from GEA. These chillers excel in part-load efficiency, making them suitable for applications with temperature differences up to 50 K between evaporation and condensation. With capacities ranging from 300 to 2,000 kW, these chillers use high-efficiency plate heat exchangers as evaporators and liquid-cooled condensers by default. The flexible and modular design includes capacity control with cylinder switch-off and/or frequency inverters, operating stepless between 500 – 1500 rpm. The chillers can accommodate different condenser types and are equipped with piston compressors, available in single (FX GC) or dual (FX GCduo) configurations. Dimensions and weights vary by model but generally range from 3200 x 2000 x 2300 mm and 2400 kg for a single compressor unit to 6200 x 2300 x 3700 mm and 13400 kg for dual compressors.
