Ice cream dipping and transfer unit

In large-scale ice cream production, transferring products from the extrusion tunnel to packaging systems efficiently is crucial. Managing diverse product types such as sticks, sandwiches, and cones requires precision to maintain consistent quality and reduce waste.

Transfer and coat ice cream products efficiently

The Tetra PakĀ® Dip and Transfer unit A2 is designed for the high-capacity transfer of frozen ice cream products from extrusion tunnels to packaging lines. With a capacity of up to 30,000 products per hour, it handles ice cream sticks, sandwiches, ball top cones, and wafer cups. Unique overlapping grippers minimize product waste by ensuring accurate pick-up, even when product positioning is not precise. The unit can accommodate up to 16 dipping stations for various coatings like chocolate and caramel. The chocolate tank maintains a consistent temperature, with pumps and agitators ensuring a uniform coating application. Dipping control sensors guarantee precise ingredient usage, enhancing consistency and saving on expensive materials.
