Hydrogen peroxide vapor biodecontamination unit for cleanrooms
In cleanroom and pharmaceutical environments, maintaining sterility in large sealed enclosures, such as filling lines and isolators, is crucial. Traditional decontamination methods can struggle to efficiently eliminate all microorganisms within these setups.

Eliminates microorganisms with hydrogen peroxide vapor
The Steris Finn-Aqua VHP 1000ED Biodecontamination Unit is a portable system designed for sterilizing sealed enclosures up to 10,000 ft³. It uses Vaprox® Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant in a four-phase process: dehumidification, conditioning, biodecontamination, and aeration. The integrated desiccant system ensures humidity is removed, making the decontamination truly dry. Vaprox is injected and converted into a vapor to reach an effective hydrogen peroxide concentration. This vapor effectively kills microorganisms. In the final aeration phase, the vapor breaks down into water vapor and oxygen, leaving no toxic residue. It’s GAMP compliant, portable, and flexible enough to be used inside or outside the enclosure.
