The Tetra Pak® Radial Jet Mixer is a high-speed liquid mixing solution designed for beverage production. Its unique design utilizes the liquid’s own turbulence to mix, eliminating the need for mechanical agitators. The mixer, equipped with either single or twin nozzles depending on tank dimensions, ensures exceptionally fast mixing times. In practice, it mixes standard beverages in 2-10 minutes after the last ingredient is added. The system’s symmetrical mixing field and absence of vortex allow for homogenous distribution, which makes it ideal for applications such as carbonated soft drinks, juices, nectars, dairy, and plant-based drinks. Its capacity ranges to accommodate batch mixes up to 200 cP. The solution also reduces cleaning times for sticky drinks by integrating a powerful jet for fast and efficient tank cleaning, operating at a reduced CIP cycle.
