Gypsum centrifuge
Especially designed for flue gas desulphurization, applications in coal fired power plants and waste incineration plants.
High-quality gypsum with minimal residual moisture
Gypsum centrifuges from Ferrum are used for the cleaning of the raw flue gas in a wet process with slurry of limestone to form gypsum; this process is called dewatering in desulphurization.
Dewatering is effected discontinuously in a sequence of specific process steps, which are filling, intermediate centrifugation, washing, centrifugation, scraping/solids discharge and residual heel removal.
With this system you will realize trouble-free solid-liquid separation with maximum performance, minimum energy consumption and consistent, reproducible product quality.
Also the gypsum centrifuges can be used in the construction industry instead of being dumped in environmentally harmful landfill sites.
