Grain dryer with air circulation system

In agriculture, it is crucial to dry grain gently and homogeneously before storage, processing, or transport. Traditional methods often lead to uneven drying, energy inefficiency, and loss of crop quality, creating challenges for farmers and grain processors looking for an optimal drying solution.

Ensure gentle and homogeneous grain drying

The AgroDry® grain dryer system by Stela Laxhuber is a drying solution designed for various types and quantities of grain. Utilizing an air circulation system, this equipment reduces energy consumption by approximately 20% compared to pure exhaust air systems, through its active heat recovery and additional circulating air fan. The modular design allows implementation in capacities from approximately 4.5 t/h upwards. The free-flowing grain is conveyed into a storage bunker and then moves through the drying system from top to bottom by gravity. The roof-shaped channels continuously mix the drying grain, enabling air to pass through and ensuring a homogeneous drying result. Customizable heating options include direct and indirect firing via burners or air heaters using conventional or alternative energy sources like biogas, biomass, and superheated steam. Additionally, the system adapts to local requirements regarding dust and noise emissions. The pneumatic discharge system ensures an even discharge moisture, leveraging variable control of the discharge interval to maintain consistent grain quality.
