Glass container inspection system

In the pharmaceutical and food industries, ensuring the integrity and quality of glass containers such as vials and ampoules is crucial. Common issues include the presence of extraneous particles, improper filling levels, and various defects that can compromise product safety and efficacy.

Automatically inspect vials and ampoules

The SA9F/SA10 models from Marchesini are automated systems designed to inspect glass containers, specifically ampoules with capacities up to 100ml (SA9F) and vials up to 500ml (SA10). These systems can operate both as standalone units and integrated into larger production lines. They offer a maximum production speed of 150 pieces per minute for the SA9F and 100 pieces per minute for the SA10. Key inspection capabilities include detecting extraneous particles, fibers, and glass defects, as well as ensuring correct filling levels. Optional inspections are available for cap and tip cosmetic control, ring/cap color control, product color, and sidewall glass defects. The SA9F and SA10 are versatile, accommodating container diameters from 16 mm to 78 mm and heights up to 250 mm, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
