Flake ice maker for food processing applications

During food processing, maintaining the right temperature is crucial to ensure product quality and safety. Environments such as fish markets, meatpacking plants, and baking facilities often require continuous ice production to manage thermal conditions effectively.

Produce high-quality flake ice efficiently

The Minerva Omega Group’s FIM 250 and FIM 400 are designed to provide reliable flake ice production. Constructed with stainless steel and materials approved for contact with food, the units are hygienic and durable. The air condensing system uses gas R452A, making them environmentally friendly. Operating under standard conditions (incoming water temperature at 15°C and ambient air temperature at 20°C), these ice makers deliver a consistent thickness of 0.9 to 1.2 mm. The FIM 250 model produces 250 kg of ice within 24 hours, while the FIM 400 model can produce up to 400 kg. For safe and correct operation, it is highly recommended to install the optional photocell for ice level detection. The product lineup meets various regulatory hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance and peace of mind in food processing environments.
