Cylindrical coagulators for curd processing

Cheese producers often face challenges in achieving optimal curd quality and yield during the coagulation process. This is crucial for producing high-quality varieties such as mozzarella, provolone, and pecorino. Ensuring a reliable and hygienic coagulation process with precise temperature control is essential for consistent results.

Enhance curd quality with controlled coagulation

The CF series cylindrical coagulators from GEA are designed for efficient milk coagulation, curd cutting, and curd/whey shaking. With capacities ranging from 6,000 to 15,000 liters per cycle, these coagulators are suitable for processing sheep, cow, or buffalo milk into high-quality curds for various cheese types. They feature a steam-heated jacket for maintaining curd temperature and a homogeneously distributing sprinkler system for rennet. The system is equipped with a servo-motor-driven curd churner and is managed via a programmable PLC with memory functions for up to five presets. A two-dimensional churning motion ensures complete mixing and cutting of curds. Constructed with AISI 304 stainless steel, the vat includes rotary cleaning sprinklers compatible with external CIP systems, meeting stringent hygiene requirements.
