Cryloc rotary screens for grain processing

In grain and bulk processing, ensuring that fine particles are effectively separated from the main product stream is essential. This can be particularly challenging with traditional sieving methods which may not provide the accuracy required for consistent quality control.

Efficient separation of fine particles

The Cryloc rotary screen by Ottevanger Milling Engineers is designed to meet the needs of the dry cereal processing industry. Inside its cylindrical housing, one or two specially formed screens work to separate fine particles from the incoming product. This technology is suitable for raw materials prior to grinding, as well as pellets and crumbs. With a maximum pellet diameter of 12 mm, the Cryloc rotary screen is compatible with hammer mills and crumblers, providing a versatile solution. An electro-pneumatic operated valve can rotate between the two screen decks, ensuring precise control. Automatic cleaning with compressed air helps maintain the screen perforations and prevents blockages. Capacities range from 20 to 180 tons per hour, suiting different production scales. Certification for ATEX zone 21/22 ensures safe operation in potentially explosive environments.
