Cross-flow membrane filtration for lab use
In laboratory settings, performing research and development or educational tasks often requires precise separation techniques. Traditional methods might not offer the compactness or flexibility needed for effective small-scale filtration.
Simplifies small-scale membrane filtration
The Alfa Laval LabStak™ M10 is the smallest cross-flow membrane filtration module offered by Alfa Laval, featuring a compact membrane area of 336 cm². This unit is ideal for both educational purposes and R&D work, providing reliable results despite its small size. Its design allows for the simultaneous testing of two different membrane types, which enables efficient initial membrane selection. The unit is straightforward to use with transparent plates for easy process monitoring and operates at high temperatures up to 80°C. Its small hold-up volume of 57 ml and minimal test media requirement of 1-3 liters make it suitable for process development, optimization, and scale-up. Fully compliant with FDA and ECC regulations, the LabStak™ M10 is applicable in food and pharmaceutical industries.
