The AccuMeter™ Ovation from AEC (ACS Group) is a continuous loss-in-weight blender designed to deliver the most homogeneous blend for extrusion applications. Equipped with precision load cells, this system eliminates the weight and vibration inconsistencies typically associated with metering auger and motor assemblies. The lower mass flow weigh hopper of the AccuMeter™ Ovation learns the exact extruder rate and continuously communicates this to the control system. This adjustment ensures that the upper material feed rates match the learned extruder rate, maintaining a consistent ingredient ratio. It can handle up to 2 to 6 components and process up to 5000 pounds per hour, making it suitable for diverse extrusion tasks. The unit includes an Allen-Bradley Micro850 PLC with a high-resolution 7-inch color touchscreen and a variable frequency drive (VFD) system with inverter duty AC motors for precision auger metering and a broader recipe range.
