Container exterior cleaning for pharmaceutical applications

Maintaining absolute cleanliness of containers used in pharmaceutical production is crucial to avoid contamination and ensure product integrity. Traditional cleaning methods often leave residues or require extensive manual labor.

Cleans and dries containers rapidly

The ARM series by Bausch+Ströbel is designed specifically for the thorough and gentle cleaning of containers used in pharmaceuticals. This system removes product residues from the outer surfaces of containers, using various media while the containers rotate at cleaning stations. Immediately afterward, the containers are dried from top to bottom by concentric nozzles and special air ducts at the container base. The ARM1036 model has an output of up to 36,000 items per hour, suitable for container diameters from 14 to 53 mm and heights from 35 to 96 mm. The ARM10600 can process up to 12,000 items per hour and accommodates container diameters from 14.25 to 52 mm and heights from 30 to 105 mm. Additionally, the system features a Washing In Place (WIP) mechanism for a complete spray down without the need to open the machine guard. Optional extras include a water recycling station that saves up to 90% of cleaning media, pre-configuration for a third rinsing station, and a range of checking and alarm devices.
