The Bioreactor by De Dietrich Process Systems is designed to maximize cell culture yields. Ranging from 5 to 20 liters, it features a monobloc inner vessel with borosilicate 3.3 glass construction, meeting EN1595 standards. The vessel is available with or without a jacket, ensuring a consistent internal surface roughness of ≤ Ra 0.02 μm for optimal cleaning. To minimize agitation restrictions, the system uses mechanical or magnetic agitation. The cover and accessories are constructed from stainless steel 316 L or alloy with a ferrite content of less than 5%, finished with an electro-polished surface Ra < 0.5 μm. EPDM gaskets that meet FDA and USP certificates maintain the integrity of the assembly. Control options include entry-level variable speed control and, upon request, a 21 CFR part11 control interface that monitors pH, RedOx, temperature, aeration (KLa), and stirring speed.
