The KWS crate weighing system by KRONEN is designed to weigh and fill products like cut vegetables and salad mixes directly into Euronorm crates (600 x 400 mm). This system features an automatic intake for three crates at a time—two empty crates and one for weighing. The crates are moved over a robust weighing platform, where the infeed belt adjusts speeds for coarse and fine filling to achieve the programmed weight with precision. Once filled, the crates are automatically moved to the next stage by an optional roller conveyor. Taring before weighing ensures accuracy, and the system integrates seamlessly into automated food processing lines. Optional features include a label printer for crates or pallets.
