Wrap-around cartoning solution for butter and yeast

When packaging butter or yeast for distribution, maintaining product integrity and optimizing packaging speed are critical. Traditional methods may fail to meet the demands of high-volume production lines, requiring a more efficient and precise packaging solution.

Efficiently boxes butter and yeast

The AB8 by IMA is a wrap-around cartoning solution designed specifically for boxing butter or yeast. The system processes stacked bundles on an indexing table, wrapping a flat blank around the bundle, and sealing the carton using hot-melt glue on the end flaps. The AB8 then capsizes the carton 180° to ensure the portions are face-up. With a capability to process up to 80 boxes per minute, it is a robust solution for high-volume production needs. The motorization design minimizes power waste by sharing kinetic energy generated during braking across other modules. Furthermore, optional vacuum pumps can be installed to reduce compressed air consumption. This system supports the use of sustainable and recyclable packaging materials, enhancing its environmental benefits. The AB8 also features compatibility with multiple box dimensions (A: 100-235 mm, B: 100-335 mm, C: 20-75 mm), making it adaptable to various packaging requirements.
