The Clipper by Houdijk is designed for the volumetric loading of various shapes of biscuits or crackers into trays or wrappers. Notable for its gentle handling, the system minimizes product damage through its integration with a vibratory buffer that ensures continuous supply and optimal back pressure control. The system operates in two primary modes: the ‘Biscuit On Edge’ for slug loading into flowpacks and into trays. The Slugmaster component builds up the desired slug count, readying them for further processing. For flowpacks, slugs are transferred to the cross-positioned Flex Wrap, achieving capacities of over 300 packs per minute per Clipper unit. When loading into trays, the Slugmaster works alongside the Traymaster, which includes an automatic tray denester, a tray infeed conveyor, a synchronization unit, and an outfeed conveyor, enabling quick changeovers between different tray configurations. Royal Houdijk’s technology improves loading efficiency and handling precision, making it ideal for high-volume biscuit and cracker production lines.
