Vibration drying system for pellets

Processing materials with high filler content, such as glass fibers or mineral fillers, can be challenging due to the need for gentle drying to minimize wear and fines. Traditional dryers may not meet the stringent residual humidity requirements for these materials.

Efficiently dry pellets with low residual humidity.

The Vibration Drying System EVS from Econ is designed to address these challenges effectively. Consisting of two or three sequentially arranged vibrating screens, it ensures efficient dewatering and drying of pellets. The initial stage involves separating the pellets from the process water using a dehydrator, followed by filtration and recirculation of the water. The second stage introduces an electrically heated air stream, further drying the pellets through the screens. For highly hygroscopic materials, an additional stage can be added to achieve a residual humidity as low as 0.05%. This system is suitable for capacities up to 3,000 kg/hr, making it ideal for high throughput operations.

Benefits

  • Achieves residual humidity as low as 0.05%
  • Efficient dewatering and drying stages
  • Suitable for throughputs up to 3,000 kg/hr
  • Can be customized with additional stages for specific needs
