Ultra high temperature infusion plant for milk processing
In the dairy industry, achieving extended shelf life and maintaining the freshness of milk products are critical challenges. Traditional pasteurization methods may not suffice for producing high-quality milk with longer shelf life, making advanced heat treatment techniques essential.

Achieve rapid, precise pasteurization
The APV Pure-Lac Infusion Plant by SPX Flow is designed for ultra high temperature (UHT) processing, offering a quick and accurate method for pasteurizing milk. This infusion system heats milk to 275°F (135°C) for 0.5 seconds, effectively killing bacteria spores while preserving the milk’s flavor. Its rapid heating capability of 1112°F (600°C)/sec ensures gentle treatment, minimizing chemical changes in the product. The plant supports various milk-based products, including flavored milk, coffee cream, and ice cream mix. With a low fouling rate and long operating times between cleaning in place (CIP) sessions, it is efficient and practical. The system is pre-assembled, factory tested, and can be designed according to ASME, PMO, and 3-A standards as an option.
