The Cozzini Stuffing Hoppers (CSH) by Middleby are engineered for seamless integration into modern high-volume continuous processing lines. They feature hydraulically driven stainless steel positive displacement (PD) pumps that maintain steady line pressures of 70-80 psi (4.8-5.5 bars) without the need for bypass valves. Custom-designed hoppers can be adapted to meet specific production requirements, and the quick-release coupling device between hopper throat and PD pump facilitates thorough cleaning. The CSH units automate the receiving process directly from upstream equipment, eliminating much of the human labor typically required for handling and transportation and thus reducing contamination risks. They are USDA accepted, CE approved, and built following AMI sanitary equipment design principles, ensuring compliance with stringent sanitary standards.
