The SC sectional storage silos from GEA offer a solution for storing granular products such as semolina, flour, and grains. The silos feature a modular construction allowing for variable volumetric capacity to suit different storage needs. Designed with a conical base and cylindrical body, the silos include sand-blasted painted internal and external surfaces which provide durability and longevity. Maintenance and inspection are facilitated by hatches located in the conical base and on the top, which is also walkable for safe and easy inspection of the plant inlets. Additionally, the structure can be made from painted carbon steel or stainless steel, providing options based on specific environmental and product requirements. For monitoring levels, the silos are equipped with a minimum and maximum product level probe, and an optional microimpulse probe or load cells can be integrated.
