Stationary grain dryer with biturbo system

Drying large quantities of grain efficiently can be challenging, particularly when aiming to maintain product quality while reducing energy consumption. Traditional drying methods may not provide the necessary precision and efficiency for high-volume operations.

Efficient grain drying with minimal energy consumption.

The AgroDry® Grain Dryer with Biturbo system from Stela Laxhuber is designed for optimal energy efficiency and uniform drying of various types of grain. The system employs a modular design, allowing for capacities starting at approximately 7.5 t/h and scaling upwards to meet larger industrial needs. Grain is conveyed into a storage bunker and then passes through the drying system solely by gravity. Roof-shaped channels, installed horizontally, continuously mix the drying product as it descends. These channels also function as warm or exhaust air ducts, enabling uniform dry air distribution and a homogeneous drying result. The innovative Biturbo technology draws in fresh air, which is then heated and mixed with preheated supply air. This mixed air is directed from the lower drying section to the upper section, providing effective drying with minimal energy usage. Air heating methods can vary from conventional sources like heating oil or gas to renewable sources such as biogas or biomass. The system’s adaptability extends to dust and noise emission requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
