Semi-automatically seal and close bags
The USC-300 static sealer closer by GEA is designed for manual sealing and closing of step-top, multi-wall Kraft bags with a polyethylene (PE) inner bag. It can also be used for bags without an inner liner as a bag/sack top fold/closing system. This versatility makes it suitable for various customer requirements. In operation, bags are presented manually to the sealer for semi-automatic handling, using either a foot-switch or push-button control. The USC-300 features solid-state controls for reliability and temperature control for both sealing the inner liner and reactivating the pre-applied glue strip. Height adjustment ensures safe operation and compatibility with existing bag handling equipment. GEA’s USC-300 integrates seamlessly with SmartFil bag filling systems but can also be adapted to other setups, maintaining flexible packaging rates.
