Stainless steel wash basin for radiochemistry labs
In radiochemistry and nuclear medicine labs, proper decontamination of tools and surfaces is crucial. Ensuring that any residual radioactive substances are efficiently removed is necessary to maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
Enhance lab safety and efficiency
The stainless steel wash basin LRI/LRI-SC by Comecer is designed specifically for radiochemistry and nuclear medicine labs. It features a worktop with a raised border to contain liquids and prevent spills. The lack of sharp edges allows for thorough removal of radioactive residues. The lower containment compartment is sealed to prevent liquid leakage and includes a hinged front door with a key lock for added security. The LRI-SC model has an integrated liquid collecting polyethylene container, with a sensor that automatically stops water flow when the maximum level is reached. Water flow is controlled via a photoelectric cell, and a swan-neck faucet ensures precise regulation. The basin’s construction of INOX AISI 304 Scotch-BriteTM stainless steel (1.5 mm thick) ensures durability and ease of maintenance. Outriggers provide stable attachment to walls in decontaminable rooms. The unit’s dimensions are 700 x 700 x 1020 mm, with a worktop height of 920 mm, and it weighs 80 kg.
