Spore removal unit for dairy processing
In the dairy industry, maintaining high product quality requires the removal of unwanted microbial spores. Traditional methods may fail to achieve significant reduction, which can lead to quality issues in milk, cheese, and powdered dairy products.

Efficiently remove spores and bacteria from dairy
The Tetra Pak® Bactofuge unit is designed to remove both anaerobic and aerobic spores, such as butter acid spores and Bacillus cereus, from dairy products. With an efficiency rate of up to 99%, it ensures the highest quality outcomes by preventing air from entering or leaving the system through hermetic seals. The unit is capable of processing volumes ranging from 5,000 to 55,000 liters per hour, making it adaptable for small to large-scale operations. Special features like a hollow spindle for gentle product treatment and a corrosion-resistant bowl made from Duplex and Super Duplex steel extend the operational lifespan. Additionally, accessories like Encapt™ technology and INSTAL modules can be incorporated to further improve energy efficiency and reduce installation time.
