The Single-pass tea extraction system from Tetra PakĀ® is a semi-continuous system designed for extracting high-quality RTD tea from tea leaves. The system involves several steps including batching in tea leaves, filling the extractor with water, continuous extraction, and then recovery and discharge of spent tea leaves. The system is capable of cooling, clarifying (if required), and formulating the tea extract, followed by heat treatment and downstream packaging. This ensures the final product maintains its flavor and consistency. The method reduces processing time and minimizes variability, optimizing the production process.
