The extraction cell features a tele-pliers and dose calibrator, protected with a fluoropolymer acid-proof coating, and supports the integration of a customer-specific module for separating 176Yb from 177Lu. It efficiently handles both liquid and solid wastes. The dispensing cell is equipped with tele-manipulators and an automated micro-pipettor module that allows for the semi-automatic dispensing of radioisotope micro-doses. The system features SIL-2 certified safety interlocks according to IEC 61508, ensuring high reliability. With productivity reaching 50 vials in 8 hours, including terminal sterilization, this plant offers both efficiency and safety in handling highly concentrated and corrosive substances.
