Rotary vacuum filters for wine and beverage filtration

In winemaking and beverage production, traditional filtering methods can struggle with wine lees and other byproducts, resulting in inefficiencies and increased oxidation. Consistent, high-quality filtration is critical to maintain product integrity and reduce waste.

Efficiently filter liquids with continuous cycle operation

The rotary vacuum filters by Della Toffola are specialized for effective filtering of wine, lees, and various industrial sector products. These drum filters operate in a continuous cycle, using a scraper blade to remove waste with each drum rotation. The filtering process is improved by the separate extraction of liquid and air, minimizing foam and oxidation. Inspection and adjustments are managed electronically through a single electric control panel, and the formation of the filter cake takes less than 30 minutes. Made from stainless steel, these filters come in models with a filtering surface ranging from 2.5 to 6 m². They include external pumps for product delivery, filtrate extraction, vacuum creation, and kieselgur mixing, making them suitable for small wine cellars. Portable on wheels, they are easy to relocate and store when not in use.
