Reverse osmosis system for wine production

In modern wineries, managing the concentration and composition of wine is crucial. Problems such as unwanted acids, presence of green tannins, and excess water content can affect the final product’s quality. Efficient removal or concentration of these components is essential to achieving the desired wine profile.

Selective filtration and concentration of wine components.

The MOVIRO reverse osmosis system by Della Toffola (Omnia Technologies) uses spiral-shaped membranes for ultrafiltering, nanofiltering, and reverse osmosis. Available in manual, semiautomatic, and fully automated versions, these systems are constructed from robust AISI 304 – 316L steel with Viton – Silicone linings. This ensures durability and resilience during operation. The system’s compact design requires minimal installation space and operates with limited power consumption. Depending on your requirements, MOVIRO systems can achieve permeate extraction capacities ranging from 100 to 2800 liters per hour and can achieve maximum concentration levels between 40% and 70%. Key functionalities include water extraction, dealcoholation, and the removal of unwanted molecules that generate unpleasant smells.

Benefits

  • No operator required at all times
  • Compact design with limited space requirements
  • Customizable permeate extraction capacity
