Punching down trolley for wine fermentation

During the wine fermentation process, effective punching down of the pomace cap is essential for optimal flavor extraction and phenolic component diffusion. Traditional methods can be labor-intensive and inconsistent.

Automate and streamline pomace cap punching

The punching down trolley by Serap Industries is designed to facilitate the process of breaking the pomace cap during wine fermentation. Made from stainless steel AISI304, the trolley features a pneumatic cylinder with a stroke length of 1500 mm, capable of achieving air supply pressure up to 7 bar with an air flow rate of 26 dm³/s. The device is easy to maneuver, equipped with four high-diameter wheels for effortless relocation. The pneumatic cylinder, mounted on a rotary system, offers 360° punching capabilities and is inclinable for use with tapered tanks. These features ensure uniform diffusion of phenolic components and aromas, improving overall wine quality.
