Pneumatic bench-top capping for multiple cap types

Small-scale production facilities often require versatile yet straightforward solutions for capping various types of bottles. Challenges include ensuring secure seals on different cap styles and maintaining the integrity of the product without a complex setup.

Facilitate diverse capping tasks efficiently

The Starcap by Tenco is a pneumatically operated bench-top capping solution designed for ease of use and robustness. This compact capper allows precise capping of different corks, such as satin corks, synthetic agglomerate caps, crown caps, and “Guala dop” type pressure caps. Operators manually insert the corks, and the pneumatic system ensures that the cork is introduced into the bottle perfectly using compression. This process keeps the cap’s surface homogeneous, without creating depressions or removing material from the cork. The Starcap has a production capacity of approximately 300 bottles per hour for cork stoppers and about 500 bottles per hour for crown caps and other pressure caps. It is suitable for bottles with a maximum height of 350 mm and a minimum height of 180 mm, with a cap diameter limit of 24×44 mm. The equipment operates pneumatically, requiring a minimum 40-liter compressor, and weighs 31 kg. Tenco offers this capper in several configurations to meet the specific needs of small-scale beverage, cosmetic, food, chemical, and pharmaceutical production environments.
