Parallelepipedic tank for wine processing

Precision in wine-making requires specialized tanks that can efficiently manage various processes involved in producing both red and white wines. Challenges include effective temperature control, space management, and handling smaller batches with ease.

Efficiently manage fermentation and thermal stabilization

The SP parallelepipedic tank by Serap Industries is designed for precise wine-making processes, suitable for both red and white varieties. This tank is available in standard capacities of 5, 10, 15, and 21 hectolitres, with the option for custom sizes upon request. Crafted from AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel, it meets stringent quality standards (1.4301/1.4404). The interior is finished with either cold rolled or bright annealed treatment, ensuring durability and easy cleaning. One standout feature is the tank’s small footprint, allowing for efficient use of space through stacking. For red wines, dome-free options are available for efficient punching down the cap, and they are capable of rapid temperature changes for maceration processes. For white wines, the tank facilitates rapid must settling. An optional isothermal feature with polyurethane foam insulation greatly enhances energy efficiency and minimizes condensation, making it ideal for maintaining consistent conditions. The sturdy sandwich structure supports service gangways, providing practical benefits during operations at wineries such as Domaine Lefkadia and Château de Fieuzal.
