Palletizing grouping system for non-returnable packs

In high-speed palletizing environments, organizing non-returnable packs into precise layer patterns is crucial. Manual handling can lead to inefficiencies, increased labor costs, and potential damage to products due to inconsistency.

Organize packs efficiently with precise grippers

The Robobox T-GS is a palletizing grouping system developed by Krones. This system uses a tripod robot with parallel kinematics to position non-returnable packs according to specified layer patterns. With positive-fit precision grippers, packs are gently but securely moved to their programmed positions. The modular system can handle one or two-lane infeed configurations, making it adaptable to various packaging setups. It features an automatic adjustment of the infeed conveyor guides, ensuring accurate positioning even with different pack sizes and shapes. The Robobox T-GS can achieve grouping of up to 500 layers per hour with just one module, taking up minimal space and requiring less maintenance. It integrates seamlessly with Krones’ Modulpal Pro 2A palletizing robots, forming a highly efficient and flexible palletizing line. Thanks to its simple design and parallel kinematics, the Robobox T-GS needs to move less mass compared to traditional robot systems, resulting in less wear and more energy efficiency. The system is enviro classified, utilizing servo drives of efficiency class IE4 and featuring energy recovery systems and enclosed lifetime-lubricated bearings.
