The O.P.S. Oil Purification System from GEA is a by-pass filtration unit designed to maintain high oil quality by continuously removing particles, water, corrosive gases, and impurities. This standalone system operates independently from homogenizers, ensuring that maintenance does not interfere with machine operations. The system increases oil lifetime through continuous purification using 100% long-strand cotton fibers, capable of capturing particles up to 1 micron. Additionally, the oil is dehydrated via a flash evaporation process. This unit works by receiving oil from the homogenizer’s lubricating unit tank, filtering it through a pre-filter strainer and a main cotton-base filter before returning the purified oil back to the homogenizer by gravity.
