The Nidomatic production line by GEA is tailored for efficient and precise nest-shaped pasta production. Post-extrusion, the pasta is placed in dedicated cups where it remains until the end of the process. This unique system eliminates scrap, leading to high-quality outputs. The mixing tank features slowly rotating paddles to achieve optimal hydration, crucial for the gluten matrix formation. The nest-forming device positioned under the press die ensures uniform nest sizes. The pre-drying and TAS drying systems manage temperature and humidity independently across three sections to maintain the nests’ shape. Finally, the unloading units group the nests for arranged packaging, minimizing manual handling and errors.
