Multitasking extraction system
In laboratory settings, multiple extraction tasks often need to be performed simultaneously without compromising on speed or reproducibility. Handling various extraction methods within a single process can be challenging, especially when working with sensitive analytes that require protection from degradation.
Execute multiple extraction methods simultaneously
The UniversalExtractor E-800 by Buchi is an advanced extraction system designed to handle demanding extraction tasks with precision and efficiency. The system features six distinct extraction positions, allowing individual process control and the simultaneous operation of different extraction methods, including Soxhlet, Soxhlet warm, hot extraction, continuous flow, and Twisselmann. This makes it ideal for laboratories needing to perform multiple extractions in parallel. The E-800 provides high analyte recoveries through a unique analyte protection sensor that ensures minimal solvent levels are maintained in beakers, preventing heat-sensitive analytes from deteriorating. All components in contact with samples and solvents are made of inert materials, preventing contamination and memory effects. Additionally, the system includes high-performance condensers for efficient vapor capture and solvent recovery of over 90%, allowing operation outside a fume hood. It is designed for various fields, including food, environmental research, polymer analysis, and natural products, and supports solvents with boiling points of up to 150°C suitable for samples of sizes up to 220 mL.
