The Krones Contiflow is a state-of-the-art mixer designed to handle both carbonated and non-alcoholic drinks. It comprises three main modules: deaeration, dosing, and carbonation. The deaeration module uses a single-stage or double-stage vacuum process, supported optionally by stripping gas, to efficiently remove oxygen, achieving residual oxygen contents as low as 0.5 ppm. The dosing module features precision control of syrup, thanks to an efficient register system, coupled with a mass flow meter to ensure accurate ingredient volumes. The carbonation module operates at high-pressure levels, over 8 bar, to guarantee complete CO2 dissolution before product filling. The Contiflow comes in multiple sizes with variable outputs, ranging from 15 to 90 m³/h, and can dose up to eight liquid ingredients while maintaining a Brix accuracy as precise as 0.01 °Bx. The system supports seamless integration with the Modulfill VFS-M filler, reducing media consumption and speeding up the production process.
