Linear bottle sorter and unscrambler

In pharmaceutical and cosmetic production lines, efficiently sorting and feeding various bottle sizes and shapes is essential. Traditional methods often fall short with high noise levels, manual intervention, and inadequate bottle orientation causing bottlenecks.

Optimize bottle feeding and sorting

The ILS-1 by IMA is an advanced linear bottle sorter and unscrambler designed for seamless integration into both new and existing packaging lines. The system features a 525 liter (18.5 ft³) bulk hopper with ergonomic loading height, ionized air rinse for bottle cleaning, and an integrated inspection system that ensures improperly oriented bottles are automatically rejected and returned to the hopper. The ILS-1 also boasts a fully interlocked enclosure for operator safety with very low noise emissions. Digital indicators and scales make changeovers quick and tool-free, handling a wide range of bottle dimensions without the need for change parts. The machine processes up to 300 bottles per minute and caters to bottles ranging from 30 mm to 115 mm in width and 40 mm to 200 mm in height.

Benefits

  • Increases productivity by sorting up to 300 bottles per minute
  • Eliminates manual bottle recycling through automatic rejection
  • Reduces changeover time with tool-free, quick adjustments
  • Ensures operator safety with fully interlocked enclosure
  • Minimizes noise emissions while maintaining clear visibility of operations
