Industrial hammer mill for granulate grinding
In the feed milling industry, achieving consistent particle size for ingredients can be challenging. Variations in particle size impact the efficiency of mixing and pelletizing processes. Precise grinding is essential to improve quality and efficiency in feed production.

Grind granulates efficiently
The Hammer Mills 650 series by Ottevanger Milling Engineers are designed for grinding granulates up to 20 mm in diameter, reducing particle size to approximately 200 microns depending on the screen used. With a solid all-welded construction, these mills feature anti-vibration mounts to prevent vibrations from transmitting to the building. The mills offer quick and easy screen replacement, and their screens cover nearly three-quarters of the grinding circumference. They are available in single or dual direction of rotation with high-efficiency rates. The fully enclosed vibrator feeder includes a permanent magnet, stone trap, and automatic self-cleaning magnet. The 650 series includes ATEX 22 certified components and various motor and screen size configurations to meet different capacity needs, with options ranging from 4-12 tons per hour.
