The GEA HVF-series Impingement Freezer utilizes advanced air-jet technology to rapidly reduce the outer-layer temperature of flat food products. Unlike conventional freezers, its high-velocity air-jets break the insulating boundary layer around the product, leading to very fast freezing with minimal dehydration loss. This method minimizes cellular damage, improves yield, and increases shelf life. Designed with a fully stainless steel-welded enclosure, the freezer allows for easy cleaning and meets high food safety standards. The modular design offers flexibility with two independently operating parallel belts and optional modules for capacity expansion. Additionally, the Reduced Volume System (RVS) option optimizes refrigerant distribution, making the freezer energy-efficient.
