High-speed automated filling and capping
The ML618 (1T – 2T) by Marchesini is a high-speed rotary system designed for filling and capping vials with volumetric precision. It features 18 pumps and either one or two capping towers equipped with 8 chucks each, capable of handling diverse types of closures. The nozzles adjust to the filling level, controlled pneumatically to prevent leaks. A synchronized starwheel infeed unit and mechanical centering devices ensure accurate positioning of the vials. The system’s capability to fill volumes from 30 to 500 ml and manage vial sizes ranging from 35 to 70 mm in diameter, with production speeds of up to 300 vials per minute, makes it suitable for high-demand pharmaceutical applications.
