Optimizing candy production requires precise forming techniques to ensure consistent shape and texture. Traditional methods often struggle with maintaining tempering and consistent feed of the candy mass, which can lead to inefficiencies and product inconsistency.

Calibrate, form, and temper candies efficiently

The SUCROFORM® W by CHOCOTECH is designed specifically for embossing croquant, hard candy, and chewy candies. It comprises a pre-former with a jacketed hopper and a horizontally mounted pair of extracting rollers. As the pre-formed slab proceeds through the forming line, it encounters a pair of calibration rollers and another pair of forming rollers, ensuring precise shape and thickness. Each roller pair and transport conveyor has its own tempering circuit, maintaining optimal conditions throughout the process. Post-forming, the products are fed into a cooler and then a slab breaker. The thin residue skin at the equator of the products is removed in a de-flash drum, with the residue being suitable for rework. This setup offers a streamlined process from initial forming to final product handling, aimed at maintaining quality and reducing waste.
