The Tetra Therm® Aseptic VTIS by Tetra Pak is a continuous Ultra High Temperature (UHT) processing unit that utilizes direct steam injection. This technique rapidly heats the product from 80°C to UHT temperature in just 0.1 seconds, maintaining a high sterilization temperature to ensure microbial and spore deactivation. The system is designed for continuous UHT treatment of various heat-sensitive products, including low-acid dairy and plant-based beverages, cream, and formulated dairy products. The process reduces the overall heat load, preserving the taste, color, and nutritional value of products.
