Digital stir controllers for laboratory applications

In laboratory settings, maintaining precise control over stirring speeds is crucial for reproducible results. Traditional analog stir controls often lack the accuracy necessary for detailed experiments, making it difficult to replicate conditions or adjust settings reliably.

Accurate and repeatable stirring control

The LS-DSC-1 by Precision Extraction Solutions is a digital stir controller designed to upgrade traditional analog systems. It enables users to set exact revolutions per minute (RPM) values for their setups, enhancing process control and repeatability. The front panel includes an on/off switch, an analog knob with a range of 0-100%, and a digital RPM display. The magnetic stir bar operation starts after appropriate connections are achieved, allowing fine-tuning to prevent magnet spin-out. Users have three ways to set RPM: the control knob for easy adjustments, meter display buttons for precise settings, and software control via EliteLab, which also logs stir data in real-time. Built in the USA with high-grade components, these units operate at 120 Volts and are compliant with UL and CSA standards.
