The Alfa Laval Y9 and Y10 models come with tungsten carbide tiles for the conveyor, significantly reducing maintenance costs, and this feature is optional for the Y8 model. The decanters employ electronic control of conveyor speed via a variable frequency drive connected to Alfa Laval’s exclusive direct drive gearbox, decreasing power consumption and wear. Constructed with high-quality stainless steel, including hinged casings, these centrifuges allow for easy maintenance and cleaning. Additionally, they are equipped with an electronic overload protection system.
