Continuous tartaric stabilisation for wine

In the wine production industry, achieving stable and high-quality end products requires efficient removal of tartaric acid crystals. Without effective stabilization, these crystals can form over time, affecting both the appearance and taste of the wine.

Control tartaric stabilization continuously

The K-Stop from Padovan (Omnia Technologies) is a continuous tartaric stabilization system designed for wine. Available in models handling capacities from 2 to 20 tons per hour, and higher upon request, the system ensures consistent quality control through its PLC-managed processes. It includes automatic conductivity checks of the output, with recycling if values are not achieved, and cyclones for continuous crystal separation. Cooling is achieved either through direct gas evaporation or glycol solution, catering to different stabilization needs. Built to handle sparkling wines, the system can be customized with PED testing. It’s designed to maximize efficiency by integrating a range of automatic controls and feedback mechanisms during processing.

Benefits

  • Handles up to 20 tons per hour or more upon request
  • Integrated PLC for precise process control
  • Automatic recycling for constant quality
  • Continuous crystal separation via cyclones
  • Customizable for sparkling wine processing
