Continuous effect evaporators for tomato concentrate

In industrial tomato processing, achieving a high concentration of tomato pulp while preserving its organoleptic qualities is critical. Traditional methods often fall short in maintaining these sensory characteristics and energy efficiency during the concentration process, posing significant challenges.

Enhances concentration while reducing energy waste

The TFF ZEUS Evaporators by Tropical Food Machinery are designed to concentrate tomato pulp efficiently without compromising its natural juice qualities. These vacuum and forced circulation evaporators operate at low temperatures and use evaporated product as a thermal agent in subsequent stages, significantly minimizing steam consumption. They are available in various dimensions and can support 500 l/h to 50,000 l/h of evaporated water. The systems range from double to quadruple effect, ensuring a gentle treatment of the product and achieving up to 38 °Brix. Maximum working temperatures are precisely controlled: the stages vary from 50 ± 2 °C in the first stage to 80 ± 2 °C in the last stage for the quadruple effect variant.

Benefits

  • Preserves sensory qualities of the tomato pulp
