Cold chain filling system for sensitive beverages
When filling sensitive beverages and liquid dairy products, maintaining sterility and extending shelf life without compromising on quality is critical. Traditional methods often fall short, necessitating advanced decontamination technologies to ensure product integrity.

Decontaminates bottles with h2o2 effectively
The GEA Whitebloc Filling System ESL is designed for the cold chain filling of sensitive beverages and liquid dairy products. It utilizes hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-based decontamination technology for plastic bottles and caps, ensuring maximum efficacy without requiring water rinsing. This two-phase process involves spraying the bottles with an H2O2 solution, followed by flushing with hot sterile air to activate H2O2 and reduce peroxide concentration to less than 0.5 ppm. The Clean Box, a physically isolated ultraclean environment, keeps the filler/capper zone sterile with a HEPA filter providing ambient overpressure. This system is capable of achieving up to 5 log reduction on A.brasiliensis and up to 3 log reduction on B.atrophaeus, and caters to a wide range of bottle formats from 200 ml to 1 US gallon. The filling system features low maintenance requirements due to the absence of moving parts on its carousels and has a compact footprint suitable for low to medium speed applications. It is particularly beneficial for industries like beverage and dairy that prioritize product sterility and extended shelf life.
