Decanter centrifuge for chemical and mineral processing
In chemical and mineral processing, efficient separation and dewatering are critical to ensure clear liquid and dry solids. Traditional methods may not provide the clarity or dryness required, leading to process inefficiencies and potential quality issues.

Delivers clear liquid separation and solid dewatering
The GEA 2-Phase Separating Decanter, known as the dryMaster, is designed for high-performance clarification and dewatering in chemical and mineral processing applications. Its solid-wall bowl features a cylindrical section for effective liquid clarification and a conical section for drying solids. High centrifugal forces ensure that solids are flung onto the inner bowl shell and transported to the solids discharge via a scroll. The clarified liquid is discharged freely into a liquid catcher and flows off by gravity. This decanter is CIP-compatible, ensuring easy cleaning after separation. Model-specific features include high differential speeds and torques, which allow processing of high solid capacities with full torque up to maximum differential speed. Made of high-alloyed duplex steels, super duplex steels, or Hastelloy C276, and equipped with specialized gaskets, the dryMaster is reliable under extreme conditions. The unit is compliant with ATEX and other EX regulations, utilizing inert gas blanketing for safe operation at temperatures up to 130°C.
