Chemical and mineral processing centrifuge

In chemical and mineral processing, achieving clear clarification and effective dewatering is crucial. These processes often involve dealing with high solid capacities and demand equipment that can handle variable conditions efficiently.

Optimize dewatering and liquid clarification

The 2-Phase Separating Decanter chemMaster by GEA is designed for efficient dewatering and clarification in chemical and mineral processing applications. This deep-pond decanter centrifuge features a solid-wall bowl with a cylindrical section for liquid clarification and a conical section for drying the solids. Centrifugal forces fling the solids onto the inner bowl shell, transporting them to the solids discharge via the scroll. The clarified liquid is discharged under pressure using a centripetal pump. It ensures CIP compatibility for ease of cleaning. The GEA summationdrive allows for automatic adaptation of differential speed with frequency-controlled motors, ensuring high efficiency by feeding in energy instead of braking. This decanter centrifuge is constructed with high-alloyed duplex steels for durability and can handle temperatures up to 130 °C. Additionally, it offers explosion-proof options compliant with European ATEX standards.
